James Wardlaw, BA, CFP, CLU
February 1, 1948 to November 4, 2002

A third generation native of North Vancouver, Jim received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Commerce from Simon Fraser University in 1971.

After Graduation, Jim was very active in the SFU Alumni Association, and in 1999 received an Outstanding Alumni Award. Jim held sales and marketing positions with Chubb Security, Atco Industries, and Comptec International Ltd., before entering the life insurance business in 1981.

Working with privately held middle market companies over the years, Jim developed a very enviable practice. Jim co-founded Integral Financial Services Inc. in 1998 with Nelson Deslippe, in order to keep pace with the growth experienced in their core markets.

Jim was married to his high school sweetheart Margaret, and is survived by sister Wendy, children Jeff and Julie, and 3 grandchildren.
